Sitting or standing at a desk most of the time is not easy on the body. Employers know the benefits of health and safety strategies to mitigate injury and soreness resulting from life at the desk. However, like other workplace environments, these strategies are often focussed on changing the work environment, rather than considering how the human body can adapt.
At Human Performance Science, we offer mobility and strength & conditioning services that help to alleviate pain and discomfort, resulting from prolonged sitting or standing. We focus on simple and specific movements and exercises that target the muscles your workers use, or misuse, in their daily (or nightly) role. Our instructors can offer group or individual sessions, either onsite, or remotely.
